My son is a carrier and his 17-ohp is in the very highest carrier range.  He’s nine and he’s had some bone age advancement and body odor and a little acne.  We are about to start treating him with cortef even though I had a hard time convincing anyone to treat him.  I don’t want him to have his height really compromised or go into puberty early so it seems the best way to go.

I don’t think Kelly knows about any carrier studies because I’ve spoken to her quite a few times about my son.  I would be really interested to find out more.  I have one citation (I could look it up) that some large percentage of kids with premature adrenarche are CAH carriers.

I would appreciate any opinions about treating or info about carriers.
