Medicos are "funny" people and many have set ideas on what should work for what ages. I believe that we are all different and "one size fits all" does not apply. As I said I hd problems with dex and also with prednisolone - now am on hysone which seems to be working for me - as I said I was overmedicated for a long time. The medicos wouldn’t admit their mistakes - now have a great endo who will listen and is open to suggestions - but am paying the price for their mistakes - have actually been able to lose some weight lately due to using DHEA - hormone replacement for women used in Addisons disease - which is also working.

You do need to stand up and make your points very clearly - that each person is different and "if it aint broke - don’t fix it".

Hope this helps
