Fiona and Megan are right on, in my opinion.  I’m on hydrocortisone, and have been for 25 years.  I’ve adjusted the dose on occasion, but the drug has basically worked well for me.  While it’s always a good idea to regularly check our various levels to make sure nothing has changed, if the ONLY issue is one of convenience (once a day vs. two), stick with what has worked for you.  The potential downsides of med change are MUCH worse than inconvenience.  Regarding when to dose, every day, we wake up, go to bed, and typically eat three meals during the day.  That gives us five good choices to pick from as to when to programatically take our meds.  Hey, as a teen, taking any medication, and wearing Medical ID bracelets, aren’t ideal, but they are simple realities those of us with CAH must learn to deal with.  In the end, it’s not that big a deal.  Hope this helps.  Best Wishes, Eric
