We saw the endo with my teenage son yesterday. My son was standing listening to the doctor talk, they know he is unwell and that his CAH is difficult to control. He started swaying, asked to sit and then fainted. They took his b/p which was okay. He lay on the bed for the rest of the consult at the endo’s insistence. As we left my son said he was okay but his legs felt wobbly. We went to buy him a drink, he fainted again and this time I have him a triple dose when he came round, he felt quite sick. After the h/c kicked in he felt much better although very tired, still is today! I have no idea why the endo didn’t suggest giving h/c. I didn’t have the injection kit with me. So I am quite confused over this issue. I would be very interested in what you as parents would have done in the same situation?
