No, I was in thinking that as a parent I could use it with my young daughter in times that she could not take her meds orally but did not necessarily need a shot immediately,  such as this weekend when she could not hold down her meds.  I could have given her the suppository instead of giving her the shot.  I am assuming that it could be used by anyone with the correct dosing.  Brenda threw me for a loop with her post of giving the suppository to her 15 year old son herself sorry for the confusion!
