I’m an adult and have managed to go back from dex to prednisolone now to hysone - hydrocortisone as I was being overtreated for many years. I’m almost 47. The years of overtreatment have left me with many problems however my endo is young and very receptive to new ideas. He stated that treating CAH is like treading on a very fine line. To have an endo catagorically rule out any changes because you are an adult really needs to be questioned as to why. There are several of us on this board who have now changed down and are feeling the benefits of the change. Email me if you wish.
