My 10 1/2 yr old daughter is also extremely athletic and on nearly the same dose as Michele’s daughter.  I usually do not give her extra meds unless she is playing in a tournament and the salt loss and energy used is substantial.  I used to worry about the same things and ask the same questions.  Good luck Heather!
