re: In flight treatment !

Hi Sue,

We have flown to Sweden (over 9 hours) when my child was just 2 months old.  We have also flown to Hawaii which took 9 hours and 15 minutes (my kids were even allowed to sit in the cock pit before take off AND before 9/11.

I think that the biggest worry I had was after arriving at our destination.  There isn’t the greatest air filtration system in the planes (if any at all) and one of my family always seems to get sick.    My son got sick within a couple of days after landing in Hawaii.  We had already done some research for Peds that were familiar with CAH.

That won’t stop us from going to Disney Land in LA in a couple of months!

If the flight isn’t crowded, they may allow you to sit in 1st class where you are away from the majority of passengers.

I wish you the best of luck and please remember to enjoy yourself.
