Yes my son’s androgens have all been elevated for at least almost 2 years.  His doctor is at Cornell, with Dr. New and she thinks we should try the Cortef.  His 17-ohp is really at the highest carrier range overlapping with LOCAH.  His doctor thinks he could go into puberty at any time - he’s 9 and his bone age is 10 1/2 and his testosterone is in the 40’s.  Once that happens, he’ll be taking Lupron and it still won’t address the underlying problem which is adrenal.  But I will appreciate your opinion and your opinion on what dosing you would do.

He tried 2.5 mg of prednisone before bed and didn’t gain weight but he didn’t grow at all in 3 months.
