louise fhi again! first of all, thanks to those of you who posted on my cruise question. very good advice that we will take !!
i just have to ask this . . . . do any of you feel like you are attributing your children’s actions to cah when it might just "be them?" i think i am guilty of this. my 2 month swcah son eats like a horse and is huge with big cheeks. i am swearing it is the 4.5 mg of hct he takes a day. (see a recent post about this) . then i looked at my oldest (nonaffected) daughter’s baby pics and she had chubby cheeks too! his last set of 17ohp, testosterone, etc. all came back great and perfectly suppressed, so how could it be his hct? i hope that everytime he is moody, wakes up in the night, or gains too much weight i am not freaking out and immediately assuming it is the cah. since i am fairly new at this, i am just wondering if any of you feel like you sometimes "blame" things on cah that might just be normal for that child? i hate that part of this disorder and want to relax a little. thanks!
