I posted awhile back about my 2 yo’s teeth.  The enamel (within an 8 month span of a healthy dental checkup) on the back of her four front teeth had completely eroded away.  The funny thing is her dentist called me about four weeks after seeing her for the first time.  She told me that there was a mother 20 minutes away from me who brought her daughter in because the enamel on her front four teeth had eroded COMPLETELY away.  She also informed me that this child had CAH.  This poor 2 yo is going to have to undergo surgery to bond her milk teeth in order to save her adult buds.

My family has always been HUGE teeth people and both my children brush quite well 2-3x’s daily.  I (speaking for myself) find it very hard to believe that this episode is due to poor dental hygiene.  Funny thing is, seems that NOTHING is EVER related to the medicine according to the doctors.  I wonder if because it has not been proven through research that "no to the med’s being responsible" is the typical answer.  Seems to be a common thread if you ask me.  My five yo (not affected) has no trouble with her teeth whatsoever.  Hmmmmm.
