I’ve been trying to wrap my brain around CAH crisis’s lately. You seem to have a pretty good handle on it, so I hope you dont mind if I try to pick your brain on a few points!

Do doctor’s specify between awhat is an adrenal crisis (like what you’d see with a CAH child and severe illness/injury) and what is a salt wasting crisis? Or is a salt wasting crisis just an extension of an adrenal crisis (the if you have one, then you have the other type theory). Thus a SWCAH child would enter into a ’crisis’ much quicker than a child with SVCAH?

And it almost sounds like I could check my child’s glucose with a home moniter if I was wondering if she were entering into the primary stages of a crisis (not that I would, but its an interesting concept!)
