Our 7 year old had $600 worth of fillings and teeth pulled last year. Our endo said it was because the cortef dried his mouth out and saliva is what rinses the food off his teeth so without it the bad stuff just sits there and ruins the teeth.

It would make sence to me that it could be the meds since they were all back teeth and he chews his meds too. hummm something to think about.

 

Our non CAH children have never had one cavity at all. So I do think it has something to do with the meds. Though my teeth are cruddy and have very soft enamel.
