Thanks Fiona, I had my surgery Monday, which went well. But I had many stones that had been released into my bile duct and liver. So I had a second procedure on Wednesday. I had to drink a gallon of the nastiest stuff to clean out my intestines. I got so pukey that they gave me a shot of something for nausea that caused me to panick and have terrible things going through my head like a bad nightmare, and I was freezing. I’m still edgy and quivery today because of it. I’m glad to be home. Thanks for the best wishes.
By the way my cystic duct is huge and had to be tied off instead of clamped, because the clamps would not fit. That caused a little problem. The doc said it was abnormal and was a shock to him, as he had never seen the like. My sister says she has 2 bile ducts, (her gallblatter already removed) so looks like birth defects. Now leaves me wondering about my poor older brother. With all of his health problems and weight, I don’t know if his body could handle being cut on. well take care.......
