Wow! What an interesting and frightening story. This is my GREATEST fear. I realize that "male" patients aren’t as dedicated and methodical when taking meds which causes me fear that my SWCAH son (who is currently only 6 m/o) will not be diligent about taking meds when he is grown and on his own.  The mortality rate is fairly high in male CAH patients because of missing meds or stopping meds.  I’m praying for a miracle cure for CAH for everyone. Or maybe a pump like diabetics use to distribute meds so he can’t "forget" to take his meds. Research is the key. I will keep contributing to the study of CAH as long as I live and breathe.
