Can any of you who have stopped taking your CAH medications for a period of time, tell me what/if any, unusual health symptoms you have experienced - (apart from the obvious hirsuitism, menstrual irregularities and fatigue).

Also has anyone more specifically ever had erythema nodosum, pneumonia/collapsed lungs, liver problems, either before diagnosis or during periods of non-compliance?

I recently read a paper discussing severe respiratory problems in two babies subsequently diagnosed with Congenital Adrenal HyPOplasia and wondered whether it could also be a feature of Congenital Adrenal HyPERplasia, although I have always been told that it is not related.
