Also, you probably subscribe to the yahoogroups pedsendo listserv?  If so, there was a question today about a teenage girl with NC CAH who was discovered to have some sort of liver mass....don’t know if you saw it.  That might be an interesting thread to follow.

 

There was also an interesting post on the LOCAH mb recently, by a woman named Leslie.  http://members4.boardhost.com/LOCAH/msg/3685.html   She talks about many of the health problems she has suffered, as a result of undiagnosed (and, therefore, untreated) CAH.....specifically those NOT related to hirsutism, menstrual irregularities, etc.

 

That was always something that struck me in reading the LOCAH mb....it often seemed that health problems were very tenacious in many of these women, even though they had a "mild" form of CAH. Once set in, many of their problems didn’t seem to go away very easily, even after hormone levels were "normalized."
