hi tanya! i echo everyone. my son, too, almost died with a potassium of 11.3 and sodium of 114. this was just last december. the icu was great, but there were some very tense moments. bad ekgs, bad labs, no iv access, etc. he is only 2 months now, but eats like a horse and is smiling and doing all the things every 2 month old does. we are just getting over an ear infection and a stomach bug (probably from his non-cah big sisters). doubling and tripling his hct has not been so bad.  everyone is telling me that it will get better, too. if everyone is saying it, it must be true :) email anytime. i live in sc.
