I just had my one year appointment with my endocrinologis and my husband and i told him that within 6 months, we would be trying to conceive.  I asked him about being on my prednisone while pregnant and he said that i needed to remain on it because of my extrememly high testosterone counts and that it’s controlling that.  i’m on a low dosage (5mg tablet that i take half in the morning and half at night).  he said that it would not effect the fetus at all because of the small dosage but i guess i would like reassurance from other people because i have heard that there isn’t enough research to say one way or another.  could you share your stories about your pregnancy and what your doctor’s have said to you about prednisone.  thanks for reassuring an anxious wanna be mother.
