I understand why you are using the term "cut off" in regards to surgery, trying to get your point across,  but using the correct terminology of clitoral recession in regards to your feelings makes the point that you are absolutely and completely informed about the new procedures in surgery - you have studied the techniques and still have made your decision because you feel that this is the best for your child instead of seeming like you based your decision on a type of surgery done 30 years ago.
