I tapered for about a month and when I had my planned c-section (second) I also had dex via IV. I did amnio, but after tapering the OB still wanted to be careful during delivery. I’m glad since my pressure dropped instantly so I almost passed out. Didn’t happen first c-section and that was emergency. For me the side effects did not last till the end of pregnancy.
