Cherry, I’m so happy our experience brought you some comfort.  We all make decisions every day on behalf of our children and hope and pray they are the right ones.  We do our best , that’s all we can do.  For us, this was the right decision.  Our daughter knows all about the surgery and has had it all explained to her in detail by the surgeon, and me.  She just sees it as part of who she is.  I pray your experience goes as well.  Michele
