My son is scheduled for what is expected to be an outpatient procedure to correct an undescended testis in a couple of weeks... I just wondered if anyone else’s child had been through this or a similar procedure, and if there are any concerns I should bring up to the Endo.  They are planning to give him I.V.  Hydrocortisone before and during the procedure as well as during recovery, and will have us give stress-dosing at home for at least the day after.
