The problem is pharmacists write their own expiration date, regardless of the actual shelf life of that particular bath of medicine. On medicine like solu-cortef or fenergan where the original expiration date is stamped on the package by the manufacturere, you can know for sure. On Cortef and Florinef you can’t, at least not the way our pharmacist bottles it.
