My Granddaughter had surgery at 13 months and is fine. Although it is scary....... Just make sure you have trust and faith in your doctor. Follow what your heart tells you and make your  own decisions based on what you know and YOUR doctor tells you . You will get opinions and advice from people telling you what they think. Listen to your gut instinct and do what is best for YOUR child. Good Luck and I will keep you and your child in my prayers. Cherry PS. Don’t know about outpatient surgery as they kept Mitzi for a couple of days to monitor her. If you don’t feel comfortable bringing him home so soon request that he stay for a day or two.
