MicheleHi everbody,
zi haven’t been on this site in a long time but I am looking for some input. My oldest daughter who is 13 was diagnosed with late-onset CAH and is on cortef and solu-cortef in times of emergency. My other daughter who is now 11 was tested and had some "abnormal" blood results but not enough to need any meds. She had labial adhesions about two years ago and we treated her with premarin. She was complaining of leaking urine and I took her to a pediatric urologist. He said continue the premarin and she was fine. Last night she told me she has been leaking more. I took a look at her and she has no labial adhsions but there is a "growth" of some sort attached to the labia and then hangs down. It is about 5 inches long and about an inch thick. On her buttock area where you would normally get hemmoroids she has another growth, similar to skin flap which is about an inch by an inch. Needless to say this has be really freaked out. I called the urologist and he wants to see her on Monday. I also called by endo, talked to the nurse and she also advised the urologist. The endo quit seeing her about a year or so ago because she’s been fine.
Does ANYBODY have any idea what this could be or mean. She was a preemie at birth but had no ambigious gentilia or anything. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I can’t seem to find anything on this anywhere. She is of normal height, slight built, normal weight............I am going to go insane waiting until Monday.
Everybody here has always been a great source of knowledge and support.
Thank you,
Michele
