Jenn,  Are you in a state that automatically tests for CAH?  When did you find out he had CAH?  Just curious, as we are working with the Cares Foundation to get CAH passed as a mandatory test at newborn screening here in California.  Kelly with Cares is working on it all over the country.  My 11 yr old daughter was diagnosed at birth with SWCAH, but not because she was tested first, it was because she was so sick and as you may have heard girls have ambigious genitalia when they are born (some worse than others) that the dr’s suspected something was up and then finally diagnosed her several days later.  We didnt have a crisis situation until several months had passed she may have even been a yr old.  I cant even recall when the first one was anymore.  She was sick already I think and had a high fever and vomitting from an ear infection and that threw her into crisis.  It will be ok.  Just let us know how things are going with him.  And you.
