This sounds interesting. I missed that post. What was said about diet and CAH? I know that the Cortef takes calcium from it’s patients. I do remember everyone talking about our kids and thier addiction to milk. I assumed this was because of the calcium need. I am always interested in diet. I too think that sugar plays a huge part in CAH. I am just not sure why endocrinologists don’t talk about it that much. I can remember a mom on here (Wendy Lee) had her CAH daughter in the E.R. even after she gave her an injection and kept her hydrated after a night of throwing up. Her daughter still became letharic in the morning so she rushed her into the E.R. to find out out that although her daugher was hydrated, and her sodium was safe, her sugar was at a dangerous level. Anyone have an endo. that talks about sugar levels? Adult or child.
