Thanks to everyone!!! Your words of wisdom and comfort are greatly appreciated! It’s amazing, but since we started the cortif, he is sleeping longer stretches of time at night. He also seems to be more alert during the day than before. It’s like he’s a different kid. Wonder if it’s the med or just him changing? They change so quickly when they are infants.

To answer the question about how long it was before his original test came back, he was born on a Saturday morning and I got a call first thing Monday morning that his test came back abnormal. Speaking of that, his Pediatrician told me that in his 35 years of practice he never had an abnormal test come back twice. Makes me wonder if my son is the only one in our area with CAH. We live in Michigan. I know his Endo treats quite a few people with CAH but we have to drive 30 minutes away to see him.

One concern, My son seems to be constipated. He is solely on soy formula now after 6wks of breast milk. Have any of your children had this problem?
