Justs a word of caution on the Bactrin.  It is a sulfa based drug which many people have a reaction to even days after taking the medication.  I personally had this problem and had taken the drug before.  I do not have CAH but I am a carrier.   I had such a bad reaction to the medication that the hospital had me do a follow up with an allergist.  It was inconclusive if I had reacted to the sulfa or another ingredient that is in Bactrin that is in all Thyroid medication.  This happened before the birth of my CAH son so the Thyroid connection wasn’t obvious to me at the time.  But I find it very interesting that my mother and maternal grandmother who are both carriers of CAH are also allergic to the Bactrin.
