This little boy is so blessed that you are so concerned with making sure he is properly diagnosed.  This is all still very new to me, but from everything I have read and heard a 17ohp in the 70’s (without medication) does not look like CAH.  My sons first 17ohp was 6700 and has been as high as 8700.  It definitely seems to me that he probably had a false positive due to elevated 17ohp’s for some other reason and that he does not have cah.
