Our son is finally home, and when I read all of your words of encouragement I still cry.  It has meant the world to me to have a support system like this.  He is finally catching up to a normal weight.  Last Monday he was 9 lb 10oz, and by Thursday he was 10lb. 4oz.  Dr. Tuckerman his endo at Geisinger in Danville PA, thinks he has the 11-betahydroxylase deficency.  Does anyone have any information about this?  His is currently on florinef .5mg 2x’s a day, cortef 2.5 mg 3x’s per day, and 5ml’s of sodium q 4 hrs, is this normal for an 8 wk old?
