You are very lucky Anne-Marie to get your results back so quickly.  The blood spots were developed in the UK and we have been doing them for years but unless they are marked as urgent by the specialist (which they will rarely agree to do) it takes 3-4 weeks to get  results back!  It is all a question of cost as they save them up until they get enough to do a batch. They are an excellent indication of control though, as are the saliva profiles, which are also available here and easier for children who have a fear of needles.
