This is not new and it is not as easy as it sounds.  I know of several consultants working on this and trials are being done in the USA.  There is a problem of delivery and the h/c is not stable.  This would be a very expensive and sometimes painful.  However slow release tablets and even slow/delayed released tablet is already available in the USA from compounding pharmacies.  There tablets can also be made in ANY dose, I wish we could get them here in the UK. Perhaps you could look into this would be far more viable and patient friendly.
