I am just writing this to bring up the importance of medic alert bracelets. I think they are very beneficial for young adults who are at college or away from home for the first time. They are also a great idea for anyone with CAH. The medic alert bracelet or necklace is worn by the person who has CAH. It does cost moeny to have but it provides a extremely valuable service for all mothers who are worried about their children. The bracelet or necklace identifies the person as having SWCAH or CAH, verifies that the person is on steroids, and gives a number to call immediately for farther information. I just wanted to bring this up because I have had one for the last couple of years and I think it’s a great thing to have.
