question for parents that are CAH carriers....

I was going to plan a full physical this spring with an internist. As I look back on my health through my life I have always seemed to be tired most of the time. This was even when I was quite active in aerobics and working out when I was young. (oh so long ago) As I get older I am gaining more and more weight. Granted I should be exercising more and eating better. And I know this is typical approaching 40. But I was wondering as I approach 37 this year if hormones changing can attribute or bring out more of the CAH carrier gene in me. I know there was a discussion on this somewhere in the archives about the affects of carrying this CAH gene. My husband and I joke that he is a big salt eater. Now we also are wondering if there is a connection. Also I had an uncle that thrived on salt. He even drilled holes in his salt shaker top so he could pour the salt on.  I myself have found myself craving more and more salty foods. The saltier, the better. My blood pressure is perfect. Which really surprises me. Yet I am so tired throughout the day by bedtime I am beat. By the time my period arrives, I could literally faint. Has anyone got a blood work up similar to our CAH children? I am just curious what my own OHP levels and renin levels ect. are. Anyone out there have these tests done?
