I am 29 years old with salt-wasting CAH.  I have been on prednisone (5mg) and florinef (0.1 mg) for at least 15 years (before that it was Cortef and before that it was Cortisone), but my new endo put me 0.5 mg of Dex after blood tests revealed that my morning 17-hydroxy levels were high. 

I have only been taking the Dex for 3 days, but I have felt naseous (sp?), light headed and have a persistant headache for the past 2 days.  Could this be from the Dex?  Does 0.5mg seem like high dose for someone who isn’t pregnant?  Any advice would be appreciated!
