My 15 3/4 SWCAH son has always had poor control his 17OHP’s are about 15,000.  They say they would be happy at 3,000.  They have been high like that for 2 years..  What are your son’s numbers??  My son now takes Dex. & Hydrocortisone..  What meds is he on??  Are you sure he is taking his meds??  That can be a real issue at his age, this is something we go over at each visit, Nic assures me he takes his.  We have a pill cont. on kitchen table so I do know that he takes it..  Feel free to e-mail me maybe we can help each other.  I have become very frustrated.
