Are there any other health issues going on that could be affecting the 17OHP?  I know that last year when my daughter had a chronic pain problem in her leg (RSD) they insisted that it had nothing to do with her 17OHP jumping from 400 to over 2200.  I insisted that it did, as I noticed that it went up as soon as the problem started.  As soon as we got the pain issue resolved (after 7 months of excrutiating pain), guess what happened?  The 17OHP came right back down.  The endo said she had never seen that happen before, but perhaps someone should write that one up for a medical journal.
