Hi Michelle - I am taking 0.5 mg once a day (at bedtime).  My doctor did up the prednisone from 5 mg a day to 5mg at bedtime and 2.5 mg in the morning but my levels were still too high (I don’t remember the exact number.) 

My sister is pregnant (she also has CAH) and she takes less than I do (o.25 mg one day, 0.5 mg the next), so I thought maybe it was too much.  She only takes 0.125 mg (1/4 pill) when she’s not pregnant.  I should mention that I am quite overweight, so maybe that is why she prescribed a higher dose for me.
