fevers

I am at my wits end. i am scared, frustrated and so worried about my grandaughter.

it seems as if she has had a fever for most of her young life, she is only 10 months old. she has salt wasting CAH. my daughter and her husband try to hang on for the baby’s sake but i feel we are all going to lose it soon.

what can be done about the fevers. she has been hospitalized once for vomiting and diarrhea but so far not for the fevers. the doctor keeps telling them to give tylenol and motrin and let them know if it gets above 103. this time she has had a fever for going on 5 days, it was down this morning so my daughter took her to daycare and went on to work.

they just called her and said the fever was back to 101. of course  she is going to pick her up. my daughter has missed so much time from work and she can’t afford to quit because her job has a wonderful insurance plan which has covered all my grandaughters hospitilizations, medications, etc.

has anyone else had the same problems with fevers? if so, is this to be expected and how did you handle it. please someone, talk to me.

thanks
