The cortef needs to be increased immediately for a fever 100 to 101 (f) - tripled. Say you gave give cortef 7am; 3 pm and 11pm. You do not wait until 3 pm if the fever is at 8 or 9 am.  Immediately.  Must give tylenol and mortin and fever needs to be reduced by a degree or more within 45 to 60 minutes.

If fever is 102-103 and the child is sleepy and will not arose. Can be signs of shock and the child (baby) can die - coma, drop in blood pressure and shock.  You have to give the solu-cortef immediately.

Do you understand.  The mortin and tylenol must be at the daycare. The cortef must be at the daycare. They must know to give it immediately.

The instructions must be clear.  Normal people make 4 to 10 times more cortisol or cortef for fevers. You have to increase the cortisol for this baby or she will go into shock and die.
