Elizabethhi Donna!
I can understand what you are feeling - I do not have CAH but my daughter does - I had many of those instances that you are dealing with and really considered myself to be one of the MOST unlucky because I always said that I was sane enough to KNOW that I was acting/thinking crazy ;->!!! I was put on Paxil, a very low dose and felt for the first time in a long time that I was myself again. I started having all the nutty thoughts and things after a couple of rapid fire stressful events in my life at about the same age as you are now which they think might have triggered a few different things in my system. I am like Paul in thinking that if it makes you feel like you are stable then why would you stop taking them? The only caution that I have is that my doctor instead of trying to figure out more of what was wrong (which eventually turned out to be a serious thyroid condition) just threw some mind meds at me which made me feel good but really just masked what was really going on. If you feel like your doctor is being thorough and is really interested in what’s going on, work with him and figure it all out! After I began treating my thyroid I was taken off Paxil and have not felt like I needed it since. . . but it was there when I needed it. Good luck to you!
