Judy WDonna,
I’m very sorry to hear of your difficulties. I’m sure it’s not easy. I do not have CAH but I have a 9 year old son that does. Recently I have been doing some reading on symptoms of adrenal disfunction. Not much but enough to raise some questions. I am seeing my son’s endo in a few weeks and plan to ask some very specific questions. For me my questions pertained to potential symptoms in carriers because many of the symptoms of adrenal disfunction are on my mothers side of the family for which I know I have inherited the gene for this disorder. One of them being panic attachs and other emotinal issues. For me I saw far to many symptoms to dismiss my at least asking the question. I guess for you I’m wondering if there is a chance that your CAH is not being well controlled right now and if that could be causing some of your issues. I’m glad to hear that your psychiatrist deals with the endo system but have you discussed any of this with your endo? Do you have access to travel to and endo that might be a bit further but that may be more experienced? Keep us posed on how you are doing and I will keep you in my prayers.
