MargeThanks for the input...speaking of getting angry, I have a comment on that issue.
Ever since my son was diagnosed with CAH (age 4, now 15) he has had a real temper issue. "Terrible Two’s" and up and down moods have lasted for years and now as a teenager he’s moody all the time (not violent, just at a snap can become angry). The docs attribute it to being a teenager, but I have always felt different. I feel that a mother’s intuition is highly tuned to her kids. I realize he’s a teenager and I understand that, but this is different and always has been. I have another son so I’m not totally out of it when it comes to teen behavior. Even my other son wonders what his problem is when he acts up. I have brought this up a lot with the doctors asking if the meds or CAH contribute to this and they say no. Even though on the prescription warning signs information sheet it says may cause mood swings! Now, if we have to increase the dose, yikes.
Anyone else deal with this?
