IMO it is next to impossible for a pharmacist to compound the meds incorrectly. Especially if they are doing this week in and week out for so long. However, Doctors will move a child to tablets when they are eating well and their doses facillitate that. But don’t let them raise your childs ’normal daily’ dose more than 3mg without them justifying why. It shouldn’t need to be. Ashleys doses were raised by 5mg when he was three yo and he didn’t grow very well until aged 7yo. They shoved that whole 5mg on the evening dose too. He STILL doesn’t take 10mg now as a 12 yo---I tell a lie he is doing at the moment because he is under suppressed and the doses have been tripled. If they raised any one of his ’normal’ doses more than so much as 2mg now I’d question it.Anne-Marie
