I never shook Ashleys med’s beyond 20 seconds and he never had a problem.  I think you must be thinking of the liquid cortef stuff.  Not stuff compounded by a pharmacist.  The only reason folks had to shake that so much was that it had the incorrect ingredient in it due to not being able to get their hands on the correct ingredient due to the gulf war?  A bit like oil and water... they seperate.
