hi there tanya! i in NO way mean to be rude here, but what would a nurse do for your son all day that a responsible day care worker couldnt do?? i would assume, like the others posted, that the day care would just need to give one pill mid-day. i HAVE given my young son the shot twice and both times i summed up the situation for at least 15-30 minutes before giving it. once he had a fever and the other time he had been throwing up all day. i would assume you would have time in such situations to go to the daycare from work and give the shot yourself. i am not sure, maybe there is more to the situation, but i know my insurance would not cover a nurse in my home. good luck with everything!
