She went in on March 29th and the operation took 4 hours. They had to keep her in the hospital for 4 days afterwards because she wasn’t eating or keeping anything down. They finally released her on April 2 (her 13 month birthday). She’s eating but throws up and has diarhea. I wish I knew if it was normal for this to happen after being under anastesia for so long. One of the nurses told us that it can kill the flora in your stomach and that can take time to come back, so that may be her problem.

I sit and often wonder if it was all really worth it.
