haraldI have a son two years old SWCAH.
I never used solu-cortef.
Up to now I only used prednisone suppositories.
I had never the case to use the injection-kit.In my opinion the suppositories are very helpfull.
The first thing what our son is doing before he gets ill
is that he vomits. One hour later he has temperature.
This behavior is normal to young children. (as far as I know)In this situation you should administer Hydrocortisone.
But for my wife and me it is impossible to give this oral.
(Our son vomits immediately again)From our endo we received also lower concentrated suppositories
which we can give in such situations.
To adjust the dosage a broke also one apart.
(I expect an absorption from 50%
caution this is my experience and not proofed)For a crisis we have higher concentrated but with this
I have fortunately no experience.
